What happens in a pre-purchase consultation?
We begin with a phone or email conversation about your plans and the property. During an on-site consultation, we review product options and budget, take photos and measurements, and look at access, the base, drainage, weather exposure and power. The aim is to identify what needs resolving before installation. An online consultation is also available; confirm its scope and current fee when booking.
Is the consultation fee credited against installation?
If you proceed with installation through Contrast Co, the consultation fee is credited against the installation. Ask us to confirm the amount and how the credit will appear on your quote when booking.
Do you recommend specific brands?
We discuss available products against your wants, needs, space and budget, using brochures and product information where helpful. The conversation focuses on the particular models being considered and the preparation each would need at your property.
Can you review a quote I’ve been given?
You can bring a product or installation quote to the consultation. We can discuss what is included, what the site needs and which items to clarify with the supplier or other trades. Send the quote and product details before the appointment so we can confirm what can be covered.
